You are chosen
I am Chosen by God- Ephesians 1:4 “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” (NLT Holy Bible)
The phrase, “I am chosen”, brings a picture to our minds. You may think back to the playground, or a game, or being picked to sing a song or act in a play. What did someone uttering that phrase mean to you? Did you swell with pride? Did you accept the call? Or did you shrink back and feel that you were not worthy? Depending on your state of mind and experiences in life, it could be all the above. This passage speaks of one of the greatest missionaries of all time. In modern vernacular, it could be stated that he was “The GOAT”. He was a persecutor of Christians at one time and was very steeped in a religious tradition. You may be able to relate. Yet, he met Jesus, and it all changed. He was a radical. He went all out for the one that saved him. In the passages before he is praying for his friends and fellow believers. He prays, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him, be glory in the church Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever Amen” (Ephesians 3:20) A powerful prayer. One that I have prayed many times and seen God move in marvelous ways. I want you to experience this power. You have been called. You have been chosen. It is time to walk it out. Can you hear the Father saying, “I want you on my team”, “I pick you “. He has. Let’s Go! <><
